- I want to thank Gennady Timchenko and the whole board for trusting me with this post. I am very happy to work in such an organisation, and here in Saint Petersburg I have always noticed how the club works at the highest level - the team, fans and the Ice Palace. To work with a team which has just become champions is an honour and comes with immense responsibility.
I also want to assure all of SKA's fans that in the new season our team will try to win every game, and that no one will be able to accuse the players of not giving everything they have. The club's board have set the task of winning the Gagarin Cup again and the Russian championship, and all of our future work will be towards achieving this goal.
