Ten SKA players have been called up to the Russian national team

It has been announced who has been called up to the Russian national team to begin training on the 1st of November in Novogorsk. The training camp will be held in preparation for the Karjala Cup tournament in Finland. Ten SKA players have been called up: defencemen Vyacheslav Voynov, Roman Rukavishnikov, Yegor Yakovlev and Maxim Chudinov, and forwards Nikita Gusev, Vadim Shipachyov, Evgeny Dadonov, Ilya Kovalchuk, Ilya Kablukov and Anton Burdasov. Interim head coach Sergei Zubov and technician Konstantin Rogatin will also make the trip to Novogorsk.

Defenceman Egor Rykov and forwards Arkhip Nekolenko and Alexander Dergachyov have been selected by the Russian junior national team to take part in the Canada-Russia series prepartaion. That particular tournament will take place between the ninth and 21st of November. Goaltender Sergei Korobov will compete in the Four Nations tournament from the 6th to the 8th of November for the same team.

Forwards: Sergey Andronov (CSKA), Daniil Apalkov (Lokomotiv), Igor Grigorenko, Nikolai Prokhorkin (Both Salavat Yulaev Ufa), Denis Zaripov, Sergey Mozyakin (Both Metallurg Mg), Vladislav Kartaev (Lokomotiv), Alexander Radulov (CSKA), Alexey Tsvetkov (Dynamo M), Sergey Shirokov (Avangard), Nikita Gusev, Vadim Shipachyov, Evgeny Dadonov, Ilya Kovalchuk, Anton Burdasov and Ilya Kablukov (All SKA).
