32 year old forward Evgeny Artyukhin has signed a one year contract with SKA Hockey Club. Evgeny previously represented SKA from 2010 to 2013, and took 44 points from 140 matches. He spent last campaign with HC CSKA Moscow, and with the club he became a Russian champion as well as a KHL bronze medalist.
Evgeny Artyukhin was born on the 4th of April 1983 in Moscow, Russia. He began his professional career with HC Vityaz Podolsk, and went on to the NHL where he played for Atlanta, Tampa Bay and the Anaheim Ducks. Along with SKA and CSKA he has also been a part of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and the HC Atlant Mytishchi organisations. He won the World Junior Championship with the Russian national team, and took part in the 2011 World Championship.
