This became Kunlun Red Star's heaviest KHL defeat. Before Saturday's match, Kunlun's worst loss in the KHL was a 2:8 setback to Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the 2016/2017 Gagarin Cup playoffs.

SKA's number 17 has goals in games with all 31 KHL teams which he has played against for the club. He is the only SKA player to achieve this.
Last year, Evgeny Dadonov also scored a hat trick against Kunlun Red Star.
