Vladimir Tarasenko is an SKA player!
On the 24th of September forward Vladimir Tarasenko became an SKA player. He returned to Saint Petersburg from the NHL club St. Louis Blues.
In 2008-2012, Tarasenko had played for HC Sibir from Novosibirsk. After his very first season, he was nominated for “the best rookie of the season” award. In the 2011-2012 season, he was invited to participate in the KHL All-Star game, but an injury prevented him from doing it.
Vladimir Tarasenko has already played for SKA in the end of the last season – in 30 games the forward recorded 25 points.
Tarasenko is a 2011 World Junior Championship gold medalist, a 2009 U-18 World Championship silver medalist. He was drafted by St. Louis Blues 16th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
