11 years have now passed since the tragedy involving HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
The terrible event occurred on 7 September 2011 as the Yaroslavl-based club were flying to their maiden match of the KHL regular season against Dinamo Minsk.
44 people including players, coaches, staff members and plane crew sadly passed away in the devastating incident.
Today, everyone who attends the SKA - Avangard 2022/2023 KHL game at the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace can lay flowers next to a special stand at sector 408. SKA's coaches and players will take to the ice with commemorative patches.
We will always remember them...
