SKA Hockey Club and HC Spartak Moscow have agreed on a trade. Defenseman Alexander Nikishin is joining SKA, with Spartak signing defenseman Nikita Sedov and forwards Fyodor Svechkov, Nikita Chibrikov, Pavel Kukshtel and Maxim Krovyakov. Furthermore, Spartak have received the KHL rights to forwards Kirill Marchenko, Ivan Morozov, Mikhail Maltsev and German Rubtsov.

Alexander Nikishin was born on 2 October 2001 in Oryol, Russia. The defenseman stands 193 centimeters tall and weighs 98 kilograms. He progressed through the CSKA Moscow system, before making his KHL debut in 2019 for Spartak. Overall, Alexander registered 23 (10+13) points in 105 KHL appearances with the Moscow-based organisation. He won a silver medal with the national team at the 2022 Olympic Games.
