Alexander Samonov and Artyom Shvets-Rogovoy have joined SKA
SKA Hockey Club and HC Vityaz Podolsk have agreed on a trade. Goalkeeper Pyotr Kochetkov and forward Alexei Byvaltsev move to Vityaz, while SKA sign goalkeeper Alexander Samonov and forward Artyom Shvets-Rogovoy.
HC SKA thanks Pyotr and Alexei for their efforts in Saint Petersburg, wishing them luck for the future.
Alexander Samonov was born on August 23, 1995. He won the 2018 VHL Petrov Cup with Dynamo Saint Petersburg, being named the best goalkeeper in the process. Won the Winter Universiade with Russia. He has tallied two shutouts in the 2019/2020 KHL regular season for Vityaz.
Artyom Shvets-Rogovoy was born on March 3, 1995. He has played for the Russian Olympic national team in the past. In the current KHL campaign, he has made 11 appearances, contributing with five (3+2) points and a +2 plus/minus rating.
