Alexander Samonov is the best KHL goalkeeper of the week!

The Kontinental Hockey League has revealed the best players of the past week.

SKA representative Alexander Samonov has been crowned the best goalkeeper. In two matches, the 25-year-old helped SKA claim two victories against Severstal Cherepovets (4:1) at home and Spartak Moscow (5:0) on the road, recording a 98.04% save percentage, a goals against average of 0.50, one shutout and 50 saves.

Michal Cajkovsky of Dynamo Moscow is the best defenseman, Metallurg Magnitogorsk's Taylor Beck is the number one forward and the best rookie is Salavat Yulaev Ufa defenseman Alexander Alexeev.
