The Kontinental Hockey League has revealed which players were the best of the past week.
SKA representative Alexander Samonov has been crowned the best goalkeeper. In two matches against Avangard Omsk and Spartak Moscow, Alexander didn't concede a single goal, registering two shutouts to fire the team to two consecutive victories. At the moment, he has not conceded a goal for 125 minutes and 42 seconds of play.
The best defenseman is Lokomotiv Yaroslavl's Nikita Cherepanov, the top forward is Dmitrij Jaskin of Dynamo Moscow and the best rookie is Avtomobilist goalkeeper Vladimir Galkin.
