Alexei Melnichuk and Sergei Plotnikov are the best KHL players of the week

The Kontinental Hockey League has revealed which players were the best of the past playing week.
Alexei Melnichuk of SKA is the best goalkeeper and the best rookie. In three games, SKA claimed two victories while conceding the one defeat to HC CSKA Moscow in a penalty shootout. The 21-year-old achieved a 94.37% save percentage and a goals per game average of 1.30.
SKA's Sergei Plotnikov is the top forward, gaining six (2+4) points in three matches. He also registered a plus/minus rating of +5.
Valery Vasiliev of HC Amur Khabarovsk is the best defenseman.
