Andrei Kozyrev has joined the SKA coaching staff, while Igor Efimov has left the club.
In the current campaign, Andrei Kozyrev was a coach for SKA-1946 in the MHL, helpung the team set a league record of 22 consecutive victories. He won the 2019 World Hockey Challenge as head coach of the under 17 Russian national team.
Andrei Kozyrev was born on 17 June 1973. As a player, he represented a number of clubs, including SKA. He began his coaching career at Vityaz, before joining the Serebryanie Livy and Severstal where he worked with Alexei Kudashov. He began working as a coach for SKA-1946 in March 2019. Andrei understands the club system well and will oversee the training process during international breaks.
