Anton Burdasov: "We want the season to continue"

- How are things going at the moment?

- We're training as usual. We had four days off, with some of us working out at home and others in the gym. Nothing unusual.

- Has life changed inside the team?

- I wouldn't quite say that. Of course, we aren't shaking hands, but everything else has largely stayed the same. If we talk about my family, we have a young child, and we have always been washing our hands. We wash our hands when we arrive at home after being outside, it's always been that way.

- Is it tough living without matches, espcially given that you had four days off?

- All of us continued training during our days off. Some spent time on the treadmill, whereas others did something different. When you have four days rest, you can lose your shape, so you have to make sure that doesn't happen.

- The 2020 World Championship has formally been cancelled. Would it be great to continue competing in the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs?

- We can't make that decision. We will live with the decision which the KHL management makes. We would like to continue and subsequently complete the season. We are in great form, we didn't lose any games. We are ready to fight and win the Gagarin Cup.
