For the first time in one regular season, SKA defeated Dinamo Minsk on four occasions. Previously, our team had achieved three wins against the Belarusian opponents during one single KHL regular season.
Furthermore, SKA have also beaten Minsk on the road in five consecutive matches for the first time in history. The current winning streak in Belarus started on the 25th of September 2020.
Marat Khusnutdinov made his 100th SKA appearance in the KHL. So far, he has picked up 41 (13+28) points. Moreover, at the age of 20 years, 4 months and 21 days, he is now the youngest SKA forward to compete in a minimum of 100 KHL games, overtaking Ivan Morozov in the ranking who competed in his 100th competitive match for our senior team when 20 years, 11 months and 1 day old.
However, the overall SKA record belongs to defenseman Dmitry Yudin, who participated in his 100th KHL game for SKA when 20 years and 2 months of age.
For the first time in the KHL, forward Nikita Gusev scored two goals in two consecutive matches. Dinamo Minsk became the 12th team which Gusev has scored twice against in one KHL game.
Forward Alexander Volkov is the first SKA player to score in all four matches against Dinamo Minsk during one particular KHL regular season. In each of the four games, Volkov hit the target on one occasion.
