As a consequence of hitting the jackpot a mere 17 seconds after the match started, forward Andrei Kuzmenko scored SKA's quickest goal on the road in Russian history. The previous record had been set by Alexander Zybin (20 seconds) on 28 February 1997 CSK VVS in Samara. In the KHL, Kuzmenko has beaten Alexander Dergachyov's record of scoring after 25 seconds of play against Jokerit in Helsinki on 6 October 2018.
The second goal tallied by Dynamo Moscow was the 1000th which SKA have conceded in 466 KHL away games. CSKA Moscow (106 in 44 matches) and Dynamo (90 in 39 matches) have scored more goals against SKA at home than other KHL clubs.
Forward Evgeny Ketov made his 900th KHL appearance. In those games, he has picked up 326 (168+158) points.
Interestingly, Evgeny's debut in the domestic championship had been made against SKA for Lada Tolyatti (2:1) on 9 September 2005.
So far, SKA and Dynamo have played against each other twice in the 2021/2022 KHL regular season, and forward Dmitry Rashevsky is the only player to have scored in both matches. Three of Dynamo's five goals against SKA in the current campaign have indeed been registered by Rashevsky.
In 40 games against SKA, Dynamo goaltender Alexander Yeryomenko has conceded 98 goals. SKA have scored more goals against Yeryomenko than any other KHL goalkeeper.
