In a dramatic encounter, SKA embarked on a thrilling comeback in Latvia, scoring four unanswered goals in the third period to emerge victorious 5:3 against HC Dinamo Riga.
Dinamo boasted a 2-0 lead after 26 minutes. After that setback, Alexander Barabanov did get SKA on the board, but Lauris Darzins then reinstated the two-goal Dinamo advantage.
Nevertheless, SKA burst into life in the third frame, as Evgeny Ketov, Anton Burdasov and Nail Yakupov scored three successive markers. Anton Belov sealed the deal with a late empty-netter.
SKA will next compete in the 2019/2020 KHL regular season on Monday against CSKA Moscow.
