- How do you feel after signing for SKA?

- I feel great, it's nice to move to a club with such traditions. Saint Petersburg always have high targets, I want to become a part of the SKA system and achieve positive results.

- Do you know any of SKA's current players?

- Yes, I know a lot of them. I played with Sergei Plotnikov for a long time in Yaroslavl. In Nizhnekamsk, I lived in one building with Nail Yakupov's parents, we played ice hockey together during my childhood. Bogdan Yakimov is also from Nizhnekamsk, we played for Neftekhimik for two years. I shouldn't have any problems adapting.

- You haven't uploaded a photo to Instagram for a while.

- I deleted the application in the autumn, I spent too much time on it. As its the holidays at the moment, I have dowloaded it again, but I will delete it again soon. It annoys my wife when I look at Instagram a lot. My first photograph from Saint Petersburg? I haven't thought about that.

- Viktor Tikhonov, Roman Rukavishnikov and Oleg Li all joined Ak Bars from SKA last season. Did you speak with them before moving to SKA?

- Yes, they told me that Saint Petersburg is a wonderful city, and that the club boasts all of the required facilities to achieve plenty of success. The training centre, the academy - everything is developing quickly, and Nail Yakupov even said that NHL teams don't have such great facilities. I'm looking forward to the new season to play and win with SKA.

Emil Galimov: "I want to achieve positive results with SKA"

- You always play in cities which have lots of ice hockey fans.

- I spent six years in Yaroslavl, that city has superb fans which have gone through a lot. It's great when you have motivation to play both for the city and the supporters, it gives you extra motivation.

- What can you say to Saint Petersburg's fans?

- I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome. We will achieve positive results together, moving towards our goal.
