SKA's flag at the North Pole

A ten day expedition to the North Pole was completed by cadets of the Military Physical Culture Institute. The purpose of their expedition was to study the impact of severe arctic conditions on the cadets while they were undertaking a cross-country skiing mission to the North Pole. The group was headed by Major-General Alexei Obintsev, the chief of the Military Physical Culture Institute.

SKA Hockey Club's flag was planted on the North Pole!

Over the past years, SKA have working together with the Military Physical Culture Institute. Their cadets often pay visits to the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace.
