HC Flagman, representing the Vsevolozhsk team from Leningrad Region, won the Krutov Cup for the first time - the Night Hockey League's main trophy.

Flagman, a team which SKA general director Andrei Tochitsky plays for, won all four matches during the group stages. Under the leadership of Valery Pokrovsky, the knockout games were difficult for Flagman, with the team requiring a last minute goal to defeat Monolit 1:0 in the quarter-final. Flagman then defeated Zapad Rossii Kaliningrad 2:1 in the semi-final, before beating Tornado 3:0 in the showpiece match. As a reward for winning the competition, a grant is given for constructing an ice rink in Leningrad Region.

SKA Hockey Club congratulates Flagman with their victory and wishes the team luck for future tournaments!
