HC SKA defenseman Georgy Solyannikov:

- It was a great playoff match in which both teams fought hard. There were a lot of scoring opportunities for the sides.

- SKA registered 38 shots on target in comparison to CSKA Moscow's 16. How can you continue applying such huge pressure on the opponents?

- We had made changes to our approach. There were a few problems for us in the opening shifts of the game, but we subsequently took charge. 12 thousand people came to the Ice Palace today, we had to get the victory for them. They certainly didn't want to see two home defeats!

- What happened for CSKA's goal in the first period? Did the puck hit the linesman during that particular play?

- I didn't exactly understand what happened there, but I did notice that the puck changed its direction. Nevertheless, we should have played better in that shift.

- SKA are playing on the front foot so far in this series, whereas CSKA are sitting in defence. Has this surprised you?

- I wouldn't say that CSKA are playing out from defence. If they would have only focused on defence, they wouldn't have won their opening two series of the playoffs 4-0. Yes, they are waiting for our mistakes, but they have big potential in the attacking zone. We have to bear in mind that they can start attacking at any given moment.

HC SKA forward Valentin Zykov:

- It was a bit of a messy start, the opponents immediately scored. However, we improved after the first period and scored our goals.

- SKA registered 38 shots on target in comparison to CSKA's 16. How can you continue applying such huge pressure on the opponents?

- This is a result of our efforts and intentions to crash the net. Roman Rotenberg is always focusing on being aggressive with our shots.

- Nikita Gusev scored the winning goal for SKA on his 500th KHL appearance. Having played in the NHL as well, what can you say about him?

- I know Nikita from the MHL too. He has always been an intelligent, creative player. Nikita is a true master!

- SKA are playing on the front foot so far in this series. Has this surprised you?

- We are focusing on our own game, not how the opponents play. We are trying to compete in the correct manner on the ice.
