The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has named its best players of the past playing week.
SKA representative Igor Ozhiganov has been crowned the best defenseman for the third time in his career. In two matches, Igor helped SKA claim two victories against Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg (3:1) and Vityaz Podolsk (3:1) on the road, contributing with three (1+2) points. He also tallied a +3 plus/minus rating, unleashed 10 shots on target, landed four hits and blocked two opposing attempts.
The best goalkeeper is Barys' Henrik Karlsson, Dinamo Riga's JC Lipon is the top forward and Severstal Cherepovets forward Nikita Guslistov is the best rookie.
