The Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the week.
Igor Shestyorkin has been crowned the best goalkeeper. In two away matches against HC Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, Igor registered two shutouts, helping SKA claim 6:0 and 4:0 victories respectively. He boasts eight shutouts so far in the 2018/2019 KHL regular season.
Vadim Kudako of Severstal Cherepovets is the best defenseman, Salavat Yulaev's Anton Burdasov is the number one forward, and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl goaltender Ilya Konovalov is the best rookie.
