SKA players have now registered 300 (115+185) points in 762 Euro Hockey Tour matches. Overall, the majority of the points (255, 96+159) have been recorded for Russia, with 21 (8+13) being tallied for Sweden, 19 (9+10) for the Czech Republic and five (2+3) for Finland.

The foul defenseman Igor Ozhiganov in the 53rd minute marked the 500th penalty minute which SKA players have tallied in the Euro Hockey Tour: 444 minutes for Russia, 26 for the Czechs, 20 for the Swedes and 10 for the Finns. It must be noted that all 11 SKA goalkeepers who have featured in the Euro Hockey Tour have never received a single penalty.

For the first time, three SKA representatives were on the ice at one time for the senior Swedish national team: Magnus Hellberg (goalkeeper), Lukas Bengtsson (defenseman) and Oscar Fantenberg (defenseman).

Magnus Hellberg has participated in seven Euro Hockey Tour games as a SKA player, beating the previous record of six set by Tony Martensson and Jimmie Ericsson.

Oscar Fantenberg became the ninth SKA player to play for Sweden.

In 15 Euro Hockey Tour games, forward Andrei Kuzmenko has tallied eight goals in regulation time and one winning penalty shot in a shootout. Interestingly, four of them have been scored against Hellberg.

Fellow SKA forward Ivan Morozov dished out his first two assists for the senior national team in his third match for the side.

The last three triumphant penalty shootouts for the senior Russian national team have seen SKA players become the heroes. Vladimir Tkachyov scored the shootout winner against the Czech Republic in Moscow last year, Vasily Podkolzin netted the decisive penalty shot to beat Sweden in Finland in November and Andrei Kuzmenko registered the vital shot against the same opponents in this match.

This was the fourth occasion when SKA goalkeepers were in net both for Russia and the opposing team. Alexander Samonov (Russia) and Magnus Hellberg (Sweden) were between the pipes for the respective teams.
