Thanks to his appearance against Denmark, forward Nikita Gusev made sure that SKA players have now participated in 150 Olympic matches.
Overall, our players have now collected 75 (31+44) Olympic points.
Forward Leo Komarov became SKA's first Finnish player to score at the Olympic Games. Furthermore, defenseman Mikko Lehtonen became the maiden SKA foreign player to register points in two consecutive Olympic games as he dished out an assist against Latvia.
By scoring against the USA, defenseman Mat Robinson became the first SKA player to hit the target for the Canadian national team.
