For the first time in history, SKA players scored six goals for the senior Russian national team in one match, as Anton Burdasov (2), Emil Galimov and Vladislav Kamenev (2) all hit the jackpot. The previous record of five had been set on 12 May 2016 (Russia - Denmark - 10:1) and on 10 February 2018 (Russia - South Korea - 8:1).
Forwards Emil Galimov, Vladislav Kamenev and Evgeny Timkin made their maiden Euro Hockey Tour appearances as SKA players.
Fellow forward Vasily Podkolzin boasts eight (2+8) points in 12 games for the senior Russian national team.
Forward Artyom Shvets-Rogovoi tallied his first assist in eight matches for Russia.

SKA players have now participated in 900 Euro Hockey Tour matches. 775 of them have been for the Russians, 18 for the Finns and a combined total of 127 for the Czechs and Swedes.
During the 2020/2021 Euro Hockey Tour, 21 different SKA players competed for Russia across the 12 matches, a new club record. The previous record of 18 had been set in the 2017/2018 campaign. SKA players registered 15 goals - also a record - in this season's competition.
Vasily Podkolzin ended the tournament as Russia's leading Euro Hockey Tour scorer with nine (2+7) points. Vasily is the fifth SKA player to become the Russians' top scorer of the competition, following of the footsteps of Viktor Tikhonov (6 points, 2013/2014), llya Kovalchuk (8 points, 2014/2015), Vadim Shipachyov (11 points, 2015/2016) and Nikita Gusev (6 points, 2017/2018).
It's also worth noting that with four goals, fellow SKA forward Andrei Kuzmenko was Russia's top goalscorer of the 2020/2021 Euro Hockey Tour.
