- Why have the team played so brilliantly in these past two matches?

- I would say that they were brilliant, they were good. We're happy with the result, but we have things to work over.

- After eight victories in a row, can we say that SKA are playing like champions again just as in last season?

- It doesn't mean anything yet. At the moment we are playing a lot of home matches after playing away a lot during the first part of the campaign, we travelled to the Far East. We had changes, as you know. We're playing new hockey now, we understand each other better.

- Two away series are coming up. What mood will the team have for them?

- For now we will have two days rest, with such a schedule I think that we deserve them. The Russian national team members will have three games in Moscow, and the rest will get ready for the away trips. We need to physically prepare better, because the season is tough.

- How would you sum up your shape before going to the national team?

- I feel good. We haven't played in Moscow for a long time, we're happy to make the trip there. We had a game at the VTB Arena there against HC Dynamo Moscow, and it's a really good rink. I hope that it will be a full stadium, and that we can make the fans happy.

- What do you think about Sergey Mozyakin's new record?

- I have always said that he is not only the best player in the KHL, but also in the Russian championship for a very long time. It's great to watch him play, and very hard to play against him. He also picks a moment to score, you can learn something from him. I congratulate him, and hope that he will reach 500 goals in the not too distant future.

- Are matches against Eastern Conference teams more dramatic?

- Firstly, we rarely play against these two clubs, and secondly they play more attacking hockey - that makes it easier. It's not important which conference they come from. This year, the system allows you to play against the same opponent twice. A lot of people wanted such a championship this year.
