The Kontinental Hockey League has revealed which players were the best of January 2020.
Ivan Morozov, a 19-year-old forward for SKA Saint Petersburg, has been named the best rookie. In eight games, Ivan helped SKA achieve seven victories, tallying six (4+2) points. He did not finish a single match with a negative plus/record, finishing at +6. On January 23, he scored his maiden KHL goal during the thrilling 7:4 beating of HC Barys. He spent an average of 12 minutes on the ice per game.
CSKA Moscow representative Ilya Sorokin is the best goalkeeper, the top defenseman is Mikko Lehtonen of Jokerit and the best forward has been named as CSKA's Anton Slepyshev.
