SKA players will compete at the Euro Hockey Tour

Coaches of the senior Russian national team have picked the squad for the Czech Hockey Games, a tournament which is the final stage of the Euro Hockey Tour. SKA defensemen Artyom Zub, Andrei Zubarev and Anton Belov have been chosen, as well as forwards Sergei Plotnikov, Nikita Gusev, Vadim Shipachyov and Evgeny Dadonov.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Andrei Vasilevskiy, Ilya Sorokin, Andrei Kareev;

Defensemen: Andrei Mironov, Andrei Zubarev, Artyom Zub, Alexei Bereglazov, Ivan Provorov, Vladislav Gavrikov, Bogdan Kiselevich, Viktor Antipin, Anton Belov;

Forwards: Nikita Kucherov, Vladislav Namestnikov, Sergei Mozyakin, Anatoly Golyshev, Andrei Svetlakov, Anton Burdasov, Vladimir Tkachyov, Sergei Plotnikov, Ivan Telegin, Sergei Andronov, Valery Nichushkin, Nikita Gusev, Vadim Shipachyov, Evgeny Dadonov, Roman Lyubimov.

Russian national team head coach Oleg Znarok:

- These three Euro Hockey Tour matches are an important part of our World Championship preparations. We have three games coming up against strong opponents, and we will look at the candidates we have picked. After returning on May 2nd, we will play a exhibition game against the Russian Olympic team, who will be competing at the ALROSA Cup in Saint Petersburg. After that, we will decide on the final roster for the World Championship.
