The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has revealed which players were the best of October.
SKA representative Lars Johansson has been declared the best goalkeeper. In nine matches, the Swede earned eight victories with SKA, a save percentage of 94.86%, a goals against average of 1.22 and five shutouts. He didn't concede across 197 minutes and 12 seconds. Overall, Lars faced 214 shots (an average of 23.8 per game).
The best defenseman is Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg's Jessie Blacker, the top forward is Marat Khairullin of Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk and the best rookie is Dynamo Moscow forward Dmitry Rashevsky.
