SKA Hockey Club have signed a contract with Swedish goalkeeper Lars Johansson. The agreement lasts for one year until the completion of the 2021/2022 campaign.
Goaltender Lars Johansson was born on 11 July 1987 in Avesta, Sweden. He stands 185 centimeters tall and weighs 90 kilograms. In his native country, he represented Avesta, Mora, Munkfors, Vasteras and Frolunda Gothenburg, before moving to the Chicago Blackhawks system in America where he competed for Rockford in the AHL. Lars subsequently transferred to CSKA Moscow in 2017, going on to win the KHL once and the Russian championship twice. So far, he has made 122 appearances in the KHL, recording a 94% save percentage, a goals against average of 1.30 and 33 shutouts.
