SKA Hockey Club has signed a contract with Leo Komarov. The agreement with the forward will run for two seasons until 30 April 2023.
He will wear the number 74 on his jersey.
Leo Komarov is a forward born on 23 January 1987 in Narva, Estonia. He stands 180 centimeters tall and weighs 93 kilograms. He played for Hermes, Sport, Assat and the Pelicans in Finland, before subsequently moving to Dynamo Moscow in the KHL where he won the Gagarin Cup in 2012 and 2013. In the NHL, Leo went on to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Islanders, contributing with 179 points in 550 matches. With Dynamo, he had picked up 110 (44+66) points in 210 appearances.
On the international stage, Leo won gold and silver - twice - at the World Championship with Finland, while earning a bronze medal at the 2014 Olympic Games.
