A skiing event involving SKA!
On February 12, SKA Hockey Club, together with the Committee for Physical Culture and Sport of Saint Petersburg, will hold a skiing event as part of the #SKAHealthyLifestyleand Ski Arrow projects.
A special Ski Arrow train will take all participants to the Orekhovo railway station, not far from which there are specially prepared ski slopes with a lengths of 5, 10 and 15 kilometers. Along with the group, experienced instructors will also accompany the participants throughout the journey as well as conducting introductory briefings.
Those who do not know how to cross-country ski can also take part in the event - this is a great opportunity to spend the weekend in the winter forest, take a walk and enjoy nature.
Any SKA fan can become a participant in the race, for this you need to fill out the form on the following link. If you want to bring friends or someone from your family with you, you must send a separate application for each participant.
You must take with you the following:
- Any SKA paraphernalia (hat, scarf, mittens, jersey, jacket, etc.)
– Ski equipment (skis, boots, poles) if you plan to participate in the race
- Change of clothes (socks, mittens)
- Thermos flask with tea
- Snacks
At the finish line, hot lunches and drinks will be provided for the participants.
Tickets for the Ski Arrow electric train will be sent on the eve of departure to the email addresses specified during registration. Departure from the Finland railway station is expected to take place at 09:00 (the exact time will be announced later, the organisers will contact all participants). The whole trip will take approximately 8-9 hours, with the train set to arrive back in Saint Petersburg at 18:00.
In the case of adverse weather conditions, the event may be rescheduled to a later date. All participants will be informed accordingly.
