The goal scored by defenseman Vasily Tokranov in the first period marked SKA's 2500th in 748 KHL regular season matches. No other club has scored as many regular season goals in the KHL as SKA, with Salavat Yulaev Ufa (2258) and Metallurg Magnitogorsk (2183) in second and third of the ranking respectively.
It's also worth noting that SKA have scored 1200 goals on the road in 375 KHL regular season away games.
Our third goal was SKA's 250th in 111 domestic championship matches against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. SKA's top goalscorer against Lokomotiv is forward Ilya Kovalchuk with 15 markers to his name.
This was the maiden occasion when SKA managed to defeat Lokomotiv in a KHL penalty shootout. The only previous shootout between the sides in the league was witnessed on 27 October 2014 at the Arena 2000, with Lokomotiv having emerged victorious in that particular game.

Forward Kirill Marchenko scored SKA's 150th penalty shootout goal. Overall, SKA have now converted 151 out of 406 shootout attempts, with 46 different players having scored shootout goals for our club.
Thanks to his assist, Lokomotiv forward Maxim Shalunov has now picked up 24 (11+13) points in KHL matches against SKA.
