The Kontinental Hockey League has revealed which players were the best of the second round of the 2020/2021 KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs.
SKA representative Magnus Hellberg has been named the best goalkeeper. In four appearances, he helped SKA achieve four victories against Dynamo Moscow, recording two shutouts, a save percentage of 97.3% and a goals against average of 0.74. He stopped 108 of the 111 shots which he faced in the series.
Magnus is the fourth SKA goaltender in history to be named the best of a single round of the playoffs, following in the footsteps of Jakub Stepanek, Mikko Koskinen and Igor Shestyorkin.
The leading defenseman is Ville Pokka of Avangard Omsk, the best forward is CSKA Moscow's Konstantin Okulov and the top rookie is Avangard forward Yegor Chinakhov.
