Maxim Groshev is a SKA player!

SKA Hockey Club and HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk have agreed on a trade. 18-year-old forward Maxim Groshev has joined SKA, while Neftekhimik have received monetary compensation. He will wear the number 28 for SKA.


Maxim Groshev was born on 14 December 2001 in Agryz, Tatarstan, Russia. He stands 187 centimeters tall and weighs 88 kilograms. Maxim started playing in the MHL for Reaktor in the 2018/2019 campaign, subsequently becoming the youngest player to make his debut for the senior Neftekhimik team in the KHL on 2 December 2019 at the age of 17 years and 262 days. Overall, he has made 55 KHL appearances so far, contributing with nine (1+8) points. At international level, the forward has claimed a silver medal at both the 2019 World U18 Championship and the 2020 World Junior Championship.
