Malte Stromwall is a SKA player!

SKA Hockey Club and HC Sochi have agreed on a trade. Swedish national team forward Malte Stromwall is joining SKA, while defenseman Vladislav Valentsov and forwards Ivan Volodin and Vladislav Kurbatov are moving to Sochi. Stromwall will wear the number 88 on his SKA jersey.

HC SKA welcomes Malte to Saint Petersburg, while thanking Ivan and the two Vladislavs for their efforts with our club!

Malte Stromwall is a forward born on 24 August 1994 in Lulea, Sweden. He stands 182 centimeters tall and weighs 86 kilograms. In the 2018/2019 campaign, Malte became the leading scorer of the SM-Liiga with KooKoo, tallying 30 goals and 27 assists for the Finnish club in 52 appearances. Malte subsequently transferred to Sochi ahead of the 2019/2020 season, where he registered 55 (29+26) points in 78 KHL matches. He made his debut for the Swedish national team last year in the Euro Hockey Tour.
