The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has revealed which players were the best of the past playing week.
SKA forward Marat Khusnutdinov has been named the best rookie. In two matches, the 19-year-old helped SKA defeat Severstal Cherepovets and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on the road, registering three (1+2) points. Furthermore, his average ice time was 17 minutes and 21 seconds, as he tallied three shots on goal, two blocked shots and a +2 plus/minus rating.
The best goalkeeper is Dynamo Moscow's Ivan Bocharov, the top defenseman is Janis Jaks of Sochi and the best forward is Dynamo Moscow representative Vadim Shipachyov.
