The Kontinental Hockey League has revealed which players were the best of the past week.
Miro Aaltonen of SKA, who tallied seven (3+4) points in three matches, has been crowned the best forward. In all of those three games, Miro never finished with a negative plus/minus rating, while scoring an impressive hat trick - including the winning goal - in the 5:2 triumph over Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
Avangard Omsk's Emil Garipov is the top goaltender, Rushan Rafikov of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl is the best defenseman and Kunlun Red Star forward German Shaporev is the best league rookie.
