Miro Aaltonen is a SKA player!

SKA Hockey Club and HC Vityaz Podolsk have agreed on a trade. Finnish forward Miro Aaltonen is moving to Saint Petersburg, while Vityaz receive the rights to Swedish forward Pontus Oberg who is currently competing in the Toronto Maple Leafs system. The contract with Miro runs until the completion of the 2019/2020 campaign.

Miro Aaltonen is a centre forward born on 7 June 1993 in Joensuu, Finland. He stands 180 centimeters tall and weighs 78 kilograms. Initially, he began his career with the Espoo Blues, before he transferred to Karpat Oulu. He was the 45th pick in the 2011 KHL Draft by HC Atlant Mytishchi. In the 2016/2017 season, Miro competed in the KHL with Vityaz Podolsk, before he moved to the Toronto system. Miro returned to Vityaz a year later. He is a bronze medalist of the Liiga, a winner of the Calder Cup and a KHL All-Star Game participant. He represents Finland as a senior international. In the current campaign, he has made 34 appearances for Vityaz, contributing with 24 (9+15 goals).
