Nikita Zorkin is a SKA player!

SKA Hockey Club and HC Sochi have agreed on a trade. Defenseman Nikita Zorkin is moving to SKA, with fellow defenseman Nikita Vashchenko transferring to Sochi.

HC SKA welcomes Zorkin to Saint Petersburg, while thanking Vashchenko for his efforts with our club!

Nikita Zorkin is a defenseman who was born on 13 June 2000 in Moscow, Russia. He stands 188 centimeters tall and weighs 88 kilograms, shooting with his left arm. Initially, Nikita started out with the CSKA Moscow system, before subsequently moving to Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk. He made his MHL debut for Yugra in 2017.

He joined the SKA system in the 2018/2019 campaign, playing for SKA-Varyagi (MHL), SKA-1946 (MHL), SKA-Neva (VHL) and the senior SKA team (KHL). Nikita made his maiden appearance in the KHL for SKA in the autumn of 2020. So far, he has dished out one assist in six competitive games for our senior side.

Nikita spent the 2021/2022 season and the start of the 2022/2023 campaign with Sochi, earning 12 (4+8) points in 63 KHL matches. He participated in the 2019 Super Series for the under 20 Russian national team.
