The Russian Olympic team won the 2018 Luzern Cup in Switzerland

On the 13th and 14th of December, the 2018 Luzern Cup took place in Switzerland between the hosts, Austria, Slovakia and the Russian Olympic national team.

In the first match, Russia defeated Slovakia 2:1, before the team beat the Swiss 5:1 to win the competition! SKA Saint Petersburg defensemen Artyom Zemchyonok (captain) and Artyom Zub competed in the tournament for Russia alongside forwards Mikhail Maltsev, Alexei Kruchinin and Oleg Li.

On Friday, Artyom Zub, Alexei Kruchinin and Oleg Li scored to help the Russians earn a 5:1 win against Switzerland.

In November, the Russian Olympic team also won the 2018 Germany Cup.
