SKA Hockey Club players, Igor Ozhiganov and Anton Burdasov, participated in a CS:GO match as a part of the Russian national team which competed against Traktor Chelyabinsk.
Evgeny Kuznetsov, Vasily Demchenko and Maxim Mamin also played for Russia. Traktor were represented by Andrei Popov, Alexander Sharov, Marsel Sholokhov, Andrei Erofeev and Danil Mokrushev.
Russia won the Mirage and Dust2 contests by a combined score of 16:2. Igor Ozhiganov (56-16) and Anton Burdasov (29-19) were the best players.
A fund was set up as a part of the event to raise money for 10-year-old Sasha Razmazin who is fighting against the effects of encephalitis.
- Of course, there were people participating who had played a lot less than me, so it wasn't quite a level playing field. Nevertheless, it was nice to play and have a laugh. The matches were even broadcasted, so it was interesting.
- The offer to participate in this appeared a week ago. All of the guys agreed to play. I've never played this game before, so I was given advice. Of course, Traktor prepared seriously, but Igor was better than their coach! He helped us defeat them tactically.
