Patrik Hersley: "It was almost like a playoff game"

- You scored the winning goal against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. What are your impressions?

- It was a tough game. It was almost like a playoff game - not really emotionally, but the type of hockey was very tight. They played well, as did we.

- In the dressing room, you were wearing a special hat. What's the tradition?

- For me, it was the first time since the playoffs last year. It goes to the player who worked hard, blocked a shot or scored a goal. Next time, I will choose who gets it.

- Speak about your goal.

- We tried to find Vadim Shipachyov behind the net. It was a good pass, my shot hit the net and went under the arm.

- Why couldn't you score any more goals?

- We played a good team. It was a tight game. We had chances, but their goalkeeper and defence played well. They had chances too, our goaltender did a good job and we were solid defensively.

- Nevertheless, Lokomotiv are one of the worst teams statistically on the penalty kill. Did you pay special attention to special teams?

- They played well. When you play Staffan Kronwall or Jakub Nakladal, you're playing against a couple of the league's best players.

- You're going to the KHL All-Star Game. Can you break the record for shot strength?

- The record? I don't think so. From what I've heard, it's pretty high. I guess that's the main reason I'm there. I'm going to try to shoot hard.
