SKA Hockey Club can reveal the pre-season training plan for the 2020/2021 campaign. On July 11, the team will return from the holiday period, before the players subsequently undergo medical testing over the course of three days at the Hockey City complex.
A training camp will be held in Novogorsk between July 15-28. The team will then return to Saint Petersburg to continue training.
From the 4th to the 9th of August, SKA will participate in the Sochi Hockey Open, where four games will be played.
Between August 12-17, a training camp will take place in Finland. A friendly match against HC Jokerit Helsinki is planned for August 13 in Tikkurila.
After that, SKA will travel to Kazan for the TANECO Champions Cup between August 19-23, playing against Ak Bars (August 19), Salavat Yulaev (August 20) and Metallurg Magnitogorsk (August 22), with the concluding match to be played a day later.
SKA will complete the pre-season with the Nikolai Puchkov Memorial Tournament in Saint Petersburg between August 24-28. Details concerning the competition will be released at a later date.
The start of the 2020/2021 KHL season is scheduled for September 2.
