HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- It's great to play at the Minsk Arena, 15 thousand fans came to the stadium today. We're happy that we displayed exciting ice hockey and scored a lot of goals. I think that the supporters are happy. Furthermore, I would like to thank our travelling fans for their support. Our forwards on the flanks went missing for the goal which we conceded, this is a mistake which we will analyse tomorrow. We continue working, the next game for us is always the most important one.

- Why didn't Belarusian forward Nikita Komarov play today?

- It's got nothing to do with his nationality! Nikita is playing excellently for us, he is a team player. He couldn't participate in this game.

- After beating Admiral Vladivostok, you stated that you aren't scoring enough goals. Today, on the other hand, you punished Dinamo Minsk for all of their errors.

- I wouldn't quite say that, we wasted a lot of good opportunities today too. We have to work on becoming more ruthless in front of goal. Across the ice, you have to take all moments of the game seriously. The guys reacted to the work which we undertook after playing Admiral.

Reaction after beating Dinamo Minsk on the road

Minsk started in a traditional Canadian manner in this match, but given that they have a coach from Canada, this is something which we expected to happen. The fans roared them on. Nevertheless, we rode the storm successfully, even if we did make one mistake for their goal. We're only just getting started.

- Why was Marat Khusnutdinov in the fourth line today? And what did you make of the performance of the line consisting of Marat Khairullin, Vasily Glotov and Emil Galimov?

- Dmitry Buchelnikov was in that line against Admiral. We're constantly searching for the best line formations, we have a creative approach to our work. We will think about the line-up which will take to the ice in Moscow against CSKA on Monday.

- What did you focus on before the second period?

- We spoke about increasing our team speed. This is something which is always our advantage. At the same time, we needed to improve our physical play. We should always play on the front foot and powerfully. Our players did a good job, they followed our plan. In Moscow, we're hoping that there will be a full stadium just like here in Minsk, it's always wonderful to play inside a packed arena. It is a celebration of ice hockey.

HC SKA defenseman Stepan Falkovsky:

- I am happy to come home! We showed entertaining ice hockey today. The main thing is that we won, we will now prepare for the next game.

- How nice was it to play in the city in which you were born?

- It's always great when the stadium is full! I think that more than half of the fans today came to see our team. Our arena in Saint Petersburg is always full too, but the maximum capacity is lower.

HC SKA defenseman Igor Ozhiganov:

- We didn't start the match well. However, we subsequently changed our approach, improved our performance level, followed the game plan and took advantage of our scoring chances.

- What happened for Minsk's goal? You were on the ice at the time.

- You can never completely avoid mistakes in ice hockey. It wouldn't be right to criticise anyone individually, we committed a series of errors as a team and the Minsk player unleashed a good shot.
