HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- It was a good game against a strong opponent, we have to give them credit. We competed against a tough team ahead of the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs. This was our third match this week, we're in playoff mode and we are making sure that the players are in optimal form for the upcoming games. Our work continues.

- Your Olympic players were on the ice today. Can we say that they are ready for matches with SKA again after the competition in China?

- They hadn't played for a while, so it was important for them to receive ice time. I think that our guys who participated at the Olympics will improve. Nikita Gusev scored the winning goal today, and I think that all of them performed well.

- The series of three friendly games in Saint Petersburg is over. What will you focus on now before Wednesday?

- We have to improve in all aspects of ice hockey. Today, we had the opportunity to compete against a strong opponent ahead of the playoffs. We're continuing to work hard while striving for excellence. Thank you to our fans, they sold out the Ice Palace. Hopefully, we will soon be able to have 100% capacity back again. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the stadium on March 2!
