The Kontinental Hockey League has revealed which players were the best of the past week.
SKA goaltender Igor Shestyorkin is the top player for his position. In two matches, Igor registered two consecutive shutouts, saving all 47 shots he faced. He hasn't conceded a KHL goal for 131 minutes and 11 seconds.
Patrik Hersley is the best defenseman. The Swede scored three goals in three successive SKA victories and tallied a +1 plus/minus rating.
Michal Rzepik from Slovan Bratislava was named the best forward and the number one KHL rookie is HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl's Nikolai Kovalenko.
