SKA to only use bags from recycled materials

HC SKA will now only use bags from recycled materials in its Hockey Club stores in Saint Petersburg. Plastic bags will no longer be available.

This started in February 2020.

SKA also plans to reduce the amount of plastic packaging in the future.

The project has been launched in cooperation with the Baltic Seal Fund. Funds from the sales of bags will be given to the foundation. SKA forward, Alexander Barabanov, recently visited a study centre in the village of Repino.

It is designed to bring more awareness to the growing problem of global warming while also assisting the preservation of seals in the Baltic Sea. Everyone can make donations to the foundation or apply to become a volunteer.
