Evgeny Kalabushkin (defenseman), Arslan Yarullin (defenseman), Alexander Gordin (forward) and Ivan Ivanov (forward) all made their competitive SKA debuts for the first team, with 22 different players having now represented our club so far in the 2020/2021 KHL campaign. This is a new SKA record, beating the previous highest total of 19 which was set in the 2010/2011 season.
In KHL history, SKA have now equalised in the dying seconds of matches against Ak Bars on five occasions:
12/10/2009, Maxim Sushinsky (59:59);
17/11/2010, Maxim Sushinsky (59:37);
30/08/2016, Pavel Datsyuk (59:55);
06/09/2020, Anton Burdasov (59:32);
26/09/2020, Andrei Kuzmenko (59:38).
On his 15th SKA appearance, Artyom Nikolaev tallied his maiden point, while Evgeny Timkin achieved the same feat in his 10th game for our organisation.
