SKA became the first club to score 3000 goals in the KHL. The second marker against Amur Khabarovsk scored by defenseman Igor Ozhiganov was indeed SKA's 3000th in the league.
Overall, it took SKA 920 KHL matches to reach this landmark, with 2525 having been scored in 754 regular season games and 478 in 166 Gagarin Cup playoff battles. SKA have registered 1570 markers in 462 home matches and 1433 in 458 away games. Salavat Yulaev Ufa (2657) and Metallurg Magnitogorsk (2646) are second and third in the ranking respectively.
Forward Andrei Kuzmenko has earned 122 (52+70) points in 200 competitive SKA appearances. Furthermore, in his 200th game for our club, Andrei dished out three assists in one KHL match for SKA for the first time.
Igor Ozhiganov scored his 50th KHL goal in his 507th league match. 13 of them have been tallied in 116 SKA games, with the remaining 37 having been recorded in matches for CSKA Moscow, Amur, Sibir Novosibirsk and Ak Bars Kazan. He is the 30th KHL defenseman to score a minimum of 50 goals in the championship.
